This is a complex issue and the road to a more stable, robust banking system is a long one. As a taxpayer, I want those banks of which I am part-owner to appreciate in value to they can be sold back to the private sector, hopefully at a profit. .... 49ninerWhy would anyone contemplate banking, with its obvious easily conjured up perks, being a private exercise whenever it fails immediately, and catastrophically, without public support.
It is in the national security interest to ensure that it is a national treasure and not a private toy.
