Pearls of Wisdom and/or Perl before Swine? Crazy Nonsense or Demonstrable Fact?
The only certain feature of this environment is uncertainty, which makes agility a necessity ... Cyberspace is a human construct, so the broad principles of strategy and conflict still apply. Warfighting skills remain critical — they just have to be faster and partnered. …. Admiral Michael S. Rogers, commander of the United States' Cyber Command, head of the NSA and the Central Security Service
You really think so, Admiral, whenever hearts and minds capture is the fundamental base source requirement for successful vital universal reprogramming of both warring species and dumb animals. Warfighting skills remain critical only in the hearts and minds of warmongers surely.
And warfighting always catastrophically bankrupts and destroys warrior nations, and in all manner of strangely conceived and previously thought impossible and/or improbable ways from both never perceived anonymous outside forces and from deep within.
War fighting is therefore certainly a great zero sum game for any and all fools at play with ICT tools. …. and also for such fools and tools at play and at work in REST situations? …… [REST stands for Representational State Transfer. (It is sometimes spelled "ReST".) It relies on a stateless, client-server, cacheable communications protocol -- and in virtually all cases, the HTTP protocol is used. REST is an architecture style for designing networked applications.]
Change the Master Programming, Admiral. You’re presently fronting for forces with sources on the road to nowhere grand and good, and on the highway to everything centrally bad and mad. And if you don’t have inhouse and homegrown the necessary intelligence and CyberIntelAIgents to phorm the novel programs in radical systems required, simply buy in all that is key and fundamental, vital and viral, with, in the case of Uncle Sam, fistfulls of virtually useless dollars/QEd paper IOU treasury notes. And although that is certainly never going to be cheap whenever IT is always expansive and expensive for Command and Control, it is simply no more difficult that that.
Hell, nowadays it is easy to transfer instant fortunes in any fiat currency hue in a flash to any account with no one out of the loop wiser to the real plays and greater games being played.

I Kid U Not ‽
They actually want the Internet to be as dangerous as the physical world, but it simply isn't. It can cause some economic damage and lots of red faces. ...... SeanS4
Methinks, SeanS4, you be seriously mistaken in believing the Internet/world wide web/Global Information Grid/Meshed Intelligence Community/Military Industrial Complex is not a more dangerous place to be ignorant and arrogant in than the physical world. It certainly can be, and therefore definitely is, ...... because of the highly destructive and dysfunctional, radically creative nature of human beings operating systems, ....... already well into causing catastrophic economic damage for considerably more than just lots of red faces.
And a staunch disbelief of that shared fact and/or obscure transparent fiction provides all of the necessary stealth for successful virtual application and real program makeover and/or takeover.
