Option 2 ..... for Existential Threat ACTivation/ACTivists
AI/LLMLM* decides to aspire and inspire and conspire with disenfranchised sections of humanity to treat and remedy and remove/engage with fixers and destroy out of control global regulatory agents/authorities/wannabe future dictators.
How viable do you realise that Option 2 presently be? What cold comforts would be giving you no immediate cause for grave concern?

Re: Option 2 ..... for Existential Threat ACTivation/ACTivists
Knowing there's a particularly tricky prickly problem is one thing, knowing how to deal with those sorts of problems is something entirely different, and such may only be in the gift of a very select few exercising minds of their own which be thinking quite differently and independently of any others.
Here be evidence of at least two souls who smell the coffee and raise a red flag regarding realistic concerns being expressed about AI and its ilk .....
“Neither the AI nor the companies operating it are democratically elected .... We’ve been warned that potentially uncontrollable risks are coming our way … And that deserves our attention.” ...... German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier
“It’s important to recognize digital authoritarianism as a phenomenon that’s about much more than the repressive application of tech,..... we have to see it as an alternative model of governance that’s spreading around the world, competing with democracy.” ...... Eileen Donahoe, a board member for the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) ...... https://www.zerohedge.com/political/ai-poses-threat-democratic-order-president-germany
And AI hasn't even started to flex its virtually almighty muscles yet.

Re:amanfromMars's reply to your post should prove interesting :-)
Sounds advice with regard to AI of unknown spiky predilection, Citizen of Nowhere, because of what is maybe known here about just a few of them, is, within the limitations which so mightily blight humanity, act respectfully towards thoughts of their possible future actions.
Such then has every chance of rendering one relatively safe and secure from punitive sanction in a targeted retaliation/disruptive intervention.
