Bitcoin Hits $49,700 As Institutions Now Own 3% Of The Circulating Supply
I suppose that's one way a threatened system has to try and control it ....... ye olde buy it with increasingly worthless paper and keep it away from the natives routine

Catherine could change tack and both cruise and feed as ace predator in shark infested market waters with an astute 51% purchase of a prime novel asset with the ability to control commanding narratives that debunk and thresh fake news with politically corrected tales informing markets of freshly minted and lucrative fiat capital intensive trails. It is only necessary that one has the one.
As has been correctly highlighted, flash cash sitting anywhere doing nothing is a liability which identifies one as being lost for ideas/intelligence/other worldly exclusive proprietary intellectual property about where to put its phenomenally effective simple fiat powers to work.
And that aint no pleasant space place for a fund manager to be for it is all downhill to massive cash withdrawal calls from there ...... just ask Neil Woodford about that bad acid test trip to know it is best avoided at any cost, for some things are forever lost to never come back no matter how hard one would tell oneself lessons have been learned. The market would know different.
And surely, owning less than 51% of any company delivers one a subservient passenger role if one's stake is not able to be leveraged to ensure prime direction driver privileges and resultant appropriate to the task rewards. One is then like a pimp, reliant on the pleasures of the hooker to make remote anonymous third party clients and/or customers happy and that's a bum trip too whenever client/customer cash aint purchasing flash booty.
Surely ARK Invest are better than that and into the game for more than just bit part, eye candy fluffer roles?

But for whom do these intelligence agencies work?
Not for themselves.
They work for their overlords, the super wealthy people, the banks, financial institutions, and corporations that own the United States and always have. In a simple twist of fate, such super wealthy naturally own the media corporations that are essential to their control of the majority of the world’s wealth through the stories they tell
Just imagine how wealthy and powerful intelligence agents would be if they were a tad smarter and had and exercised any great intelligence to realise that to work for themselves just by simply doing what they are currently doing better than those and that all around them which are profiting immensely from their shenanigans, is a readily available option to derive and deliver an altogether quite different future for practically everyone, and how up the creek without a paddle their competition and opposition would be.
Seems like the CIA is a wannabe misnomer.

Re: El Reg ..... Open All Hours .... No One Left Behind Out in the Cold and the Dark
There is no valid reason to not expect the appearance of weird great encounters to be so simply proposed and accommodated as to send a courteous invite to second and third parties, if certain information and advanced intelligence for sharing is thought further better revealed in private before an audience with particular and peculiar common interests, ...... and who's to say that El Reg has not been a juicy target for all manner of state and non-state actor surveillance for quite a considerable length of time, given the sort of engaging topical information so oft freely shared on pages here, in both articles and peer body comments in reply ...... because of the rapid and easily disruptive and destructive evolution of those self same common interests.
And such opportunities are extremely easily tested and utilised without any expensive wasted effort.
Here be a prime example of such simple stealthy sleek vessels provided both by Royal Mail and snail mail if these very convenient electronic means, exploring the assumption of perfect delivery to wherever sensitive letters be necessary, and being hereby also betatested, proves itself presently ineffective and currently unsuccessful ......

No Smoking Gun ... Identifies a Phantom Enemy. There's Counselling and Medication for Paranoia
It's not everyday you meet someone who builds cyber weapons as complex as those deployed by Russian intelligence. But Jon Miller, who started off as a hacker and now runs a company called Boldend, designs and sells cutting-edge cyber weapons to U.S. intelligence agencies.
Jon Miller: I build things much more sophisticated than this. What's impressive is the scope of it. This is a watershed style attack. I would never do something like this. It creates too much damage. ..... https://www.cbsnews.com/news/solarwinds-hack-russia-cyberattack-60-minutes-2021-02-14/
There's always at least one, isn't there, blowing their own trumpet trying to excite the markets.
Hasn't Jon Miller heard the news ........ Self praise is no recommendation. And why is it Uncle Sam is always getting hacked by perps wonderfully adapted and adept at not leaving behind any provable incriminating evidence. It doesn't get much more sophisticated than that if one considers it a weapon.
