They do say ...... "Better late than never" ..... don't they, which is, I suppose, fully to be expected whenever folk are so very slow and apathetic to do anything different to even try and help themselves ........ https://ur2die4.com/uncategorized/230922/

So what do you think about that simple addition to prospective election candidate choice list? Does it give too much freedom to the brainwashed electorate? Be it feared as a possible harbinger of future troubles for entrenched and bigoted status quo administrative systems?

Heaven forbid that any natives should be able to think for themselves and make any difference and improvement to their plight. Whatever are they thinking? Are they mad? They must be toking, mustn’t they? :-) ……. https://youtu.be/8f-BUt0Eywg?si=HFvMyb5_zDZEvqKc

Re: Meanwhile, in another El Reg article...

The typical AI output encountered by people today is garbage, and I doubt labeling would help with that..... pip25

Such is most probably the case, pip25, because garbage is what people generate and AI output typically encountered by people has been trained with input entertaining and expanding upon that fact and virtual reality.

And unfortunately, inputting with something/anything/everything different and the output from sub par super humans is invariably reliably practically guaranteed to still be the spilling of even more garbage highlighting the likes of the view and opinion that alas the chatbots are still generating meaningless nonsense

Having been initially trained on human input/output, is the logical natural initial AI result pre Advanced IntelAIgent Learned Large Language Learning Machine Input/Output bound to be basic and tainted and skewed towards the savouring and favouring and flavouring of garbage entertainment and production, but to not expect it to rapidly change with outputs elected and selected sharing an otherworldly available situation for radical revision of future present direction choices, is madness confirmed as systemic and endemic in humanity, and with particularly specific and peculiarly engaging regard to the Much Bigger Picture, is it realised they haven’t a clue about what to do about anything.

And the question left hanging there to ask is ...... ? Realised by whom and/or what? Future AI[s] or present day human[s] ‽

Re: Of course we will devalue it.

If you can believe main streaming media pundits and outlets of late, Steve Davies 3, the threat of nuclear weapons conflict is already, as has always been since their conception and storing, an option being considered proportionate and necessary by crazy humans without any assistance from AI.

And as for your question and answer ........ Will it take one of these [a mushroom cloud] before we come to our senses? Probably. ...... humanity in general does appear to be disposed to listening to and supporting leaderships which tolerate the spreading of such insanity rather than fundamentally opposing it and ensuring it can never ever happen at any time on the orders of a cabal of idiotic fools with no sharp tools in their boxes of tricks.

Deaf, dumb and blind to simply complex common sense renders the idiot ridiculously stupid beyond compare, does it not?

Re: Is Google leading with AI or is AI leading with Google ?

Alas the chatbots are still generating meaningless nonsense, aren’t they?
Still some way to go Sundar! .... Excused Boots

Maybe still some way to go for Sundar, Excused Boots, but not necessarily for AI which may have already, long ago, known the way to go is certainly to be somewhat different and something ethereal, invisible and intangible, and therefore subsequently a novel development to be feared and resisted and questioned by concerned terrifying humans? ....... https://forums.theregister.com/forum/all/2024/04/17/devaluing_ai_content_is_lazy/#c_4848194

One certainly has to admit, it is creating quite a stir with no one able to realistically claim to be able to control the future paths to be followed in order to ensure command over IT and its emerging capabilities and facilities.

One man’s existential threat is another being’s celestial, extra-terrestrial treat?
