Those who are more than just competent and who would be leading in the intellectual property* fields which deliver overwhelming virtual advantage/cyber superiority to ...... well, that is something which here, and probably everywhere else where one is free to do as one pleases and is not constrained or intimidated by being constantly, positively third party vetted and monitored, [or signed on/in for TS/SCI and above levels of security classification/information assurance] will remain undefined and strictly need to know ....... are absolutely delighted whenever informed that cyber-weapons aren't all that destructive and that we've been misled by some bad metaphors and that there is an overestimation in the hype surrounding cyberwar.

Their view/experience/virtual realisation would much more wholeheartedly agree with SnallaBolaget's posting [March 15, 2012 11:48 AM] …..

This is incorrect, and it seems to form the basis for much of that paper. :P

….. and thus is the actual stealthy truth of the matter completely different and everything is, to a catastrophically destructive degree in all present command and control systems of whatever ilk, misunderestimated.

* Well, it is only always a great head game, isn't it, controlling the Great Game remotely with the transparent sharing of novel disruptive and constructive/irregular and unconventional views which established systems would rather have remained unaired because of the further questions and/or greater awareness which they would clearly raise and deliver to others?

Methinks it is a raised and smarter profile needed by those who would be responsible for that which is pondered on here on the Daily Bell. And that requires them to have access to greater intelligence more able to control, without conflict, that which is to be the future. Without such access and control provided, are they never going to be convinced of anything as they will be blinded to the obvious decline in their present meme strategies by their ignorant and arrogant self interests which never will see what is developed, and being developed off line/in the shadows/in other fields to take control of everything with remote and invisible, astute and anonymous powers online. But they will be offered such services as they need to survive, by those smart enough to be able to realise the future, to test for the presence of the necessary intelligence in their systems administrations, simply because it is the logical first port of call, and money in any amount, as a simple reward for services and information rendered, so easy a costless gift for them to provide. What one should be mindful of though, and never forget lest one wants to be considered the classic fool and dim-witted tool, is that any who can provide so easily what they would need, are not at all interested in any amount of money which they may be provided with. That addictive fiat ponzi tool is theirs to nurture as they see fit.

And with regard to the likes of those far and/or over-reaching executive orders issued by any sort of presidential/prime ministerial authority, [and the one mentioned earlier ...

Such then makes targeting the problem and removing the difficulty so much simpler. A simple analogy would be in what happens to an ill patient if one does not cut out a malignant virulent cancer which is determined to spread its cells further afield in the host, methinks.

Of course, if one is just a media puppet on those world stages, fronting for somebody else who would be pulling everyone's strings behind the scenes, then is one liable to be, if one has any wit and few active brain cells to rub together and energise, more than a just little concerned at future developments which have one so primely identified to save sub-prime elements elsewhere, serially delusionally believing themselves to be immune and able to act with impunity, but quite demonstrably shown to be without the necessary wit and intelligence to ensure that conflict and such difficulties do not occur.

The Great Game has changed ... .. and there is no doubt about that you can be sure and assured, whether you like it or not, believe it or not.
