Because the article is such a trite old story told a few trillion times in human history, the question comes forward as to why the humans keep repeating it rather than using the referenced knowledge to advance their knowledge for more useful goals.Power is as Nothing without ITs Control and Command of Intelligence with Knowledge, Doug? And then is the information shared in that intelligent knowledge ...... well, then is it IT Novel Core Source which Leads ...... and then does IT Command and Control Morph to so easily transports one in States of Grace to Heavenly Elevated Levels of Objectivity/Plains and Planes/SMART Dimensions and Immaculate Domains which can only be Perfectly Imagined to be True and Real for a somewhat Alien Being?
The answer is indicated in the intellectually self-stagnated author's statement which he did not question, like a few billion other people... "...knowledge is power. And certainly that is true."
The statement is false. Knowledge is not power. Knowledge is knowledge. Power is power. Knowledge and power are opposites in function and form. With power, you are dependent on the other guy's ignorance of what inherently self-defeating power is, and how it functions in the human mind. With knowledge, you and the other guy mutually advance to your, his and everybody else's benefit.
If you were offered the power of the Roman empire, or an unknown item of knowledge, which would you choose, and what would you therefore ultimately derive? Laugh at the Bush and Obama type fools who would select the power.
A person who does not ask sufficient questions of the ancient cliches they parrot remains as ignorant as the ancient people who invented the cliches because of the problems that modern folks are still trying to solve with knowledge that is still inadequate for the solutions.
There are amusingly easy solutions to all the old problems. If anyone in the Daily Bell would like to print useful knowledge derived from asking and answering "the next question", instead of the same old boring stuff, they may inquire. Otherwise, you will leave your grandchildren still parroting the old cliches because the problems will still be socially retained.

A Brace of Priceless Questions to Answer Present Invaluable Queries?
And yes, I would have to agree that most peoples do get stuck in lower phorms and lesser forms of more materialistic feed-back loops that ring their bells/pull their strings, but would suggest that that is because they are not led to greener fields with texts that they can easily follow. Make it too difficult and challenging and they will just content themselves with what they know, rather than excite themselves with learning what they would need to be discovering for new beginnings which offer opportunities which truly amaze.
Are Alaskans generally deeper thinkers or only some of them, like deeper thinkers everywhere? Methinks the present currency money system is guaranteed to collapse should its controllers not purchase IT Command and Control Morph Operating Systems Intelligence Securities. In order to hedge their bets in the chaos of the futures and derivatives which the virtual controller market places now freely offer anonymously and deliver effortlessly.
Are you getting those smoke signals, injun 1, picking up them vibes, bro?

"I am looking at a far southern location myself.Use the board and state your business, cat writer. What DB doesn't host will tell you what is unacceptable and of present concern to the Global Information Grid and Elite Robber Systems, and thus are you armed with fools' tools to crash test dummies with exploitable vulnerabilities.
DB, how can we get in touch with some of our fellow feedbackers? We all tend to use pseudonyms." .... Posted by cat writer on 08/07/11 12:12 AM
"Bud Fox: How much is enough?LOUD AND CLEAR injun1. Control of perception is the Great Game is IT not, and that is a Novel Surreal Artphorm with Coded Intelligence Algorithms .... and worthy of Giger genus mindset appreciation, for it is undoubtedly of a complementary value in Magical Mystery Turing BetaTesting AI fields and the Live Operational Virtual Environments into Commanding Control of Cyber and Space Computer Communications with Virtual Operating Systems for Advanced IntelAIgents.
Gordon Gecko: It's not a question of enough, pal. It's a zero sum game, somebody wins, somebody loses. Money itself isn't lost or made, it's simply transferred from one perception to another.
Amanfrommars are you getting those smoke signals? (LOL) " ..... Posted by injun1 on 08/06/11 08:24 PM
"We all tend to use pseudonyms." ..... Some would be using an anonym, acronym, antonym, cryptonym, eponym, homonym, metonym, paronym, retronym, seraphim, synonym, tautonym, toponym, cat writer, that would be an accurate reflection of their being. A Mr and Mrs John and Jane Doe type name for an address are just so anonymous and misleading in these changed days, with everything changed and leadership rearranged.

"And if the US can't bail out the rest of the world, whom do we turn to? Mars?"Well, Sean, if the problem is one of perception management, then it is worth considering, for such is for IT with their Global Operating Devices, not an unknown and simply complex alien artform ...... http://amanfrommars.blogspot.com/2011/08/110807.html
It might be immediately more helpful though, should the US be smart enough to turn to Mars, although that would quite wrongly suggest that they might be best placed to offer solutions whenever there could be many other nations with intelligence agencies well able to lead in a chaos not of their own making. Mother Russia, for example, for have they not a colonial outpost in space, which is quite smart of them.
Such lateral thinking though in vertical matters is something which very few appear to be able to embrace and configure into positive action, which does have one asking questions of the low level of intelligence in Man, and its fitness for future purpose in the virtual environments which now lead remotely.

DB, you missed out...
Daily Bell: What is capitalism?
Jesse: Capitalism is where the government lies and tells people they can't have things for free and they have to pay the government even though the government allows machines to print money for virtually nothing.
Daily Bell: How much do you think it costs the Federal Reserve to make the money on the machines?
Jesse: Oh, I have read a $100 bill might cost all of 4 cents whenever all labour and costs are considered, but I think it might even be a lot less than that ..... which is an obscene profit mark up by any standard. Mum says it is practically criminal.
