Too big to fail systems are always abused by their controllers and patrons, whenever the collection of conspicuous wealth gives the perception of power and delivers jealous envy, and always fail because neither offers intelligence or control, without which one is extraordinarily rendered an easily led fool and useful tool to those into better control with greater intelligence ........ and intelligence is a dynamic state which is always growing and delivering Applied Imagination as Advanced Intelligence for Presentation of Future Product Placements for Media and IT InterNetworking to make Real with Virtual Player Leads/Means/Memes.
And don't for one moment think that that is not presently so, whenever you so often read here on/in Wired, of Uncle Sam's, Dept. of Defense troubles in Virtual Terrain Team Program Fields, which are plagued and guaranteed to always fail because of, as is always the case in every program on Earth, a lack of Control Intelligence instructing and mentoring and monitoring devolved and evolving leaderships……. aka Supervisory Control, Analysis and Data Acquisition Systems.
However, that was then and this is now and tomorrow is the future and the future is packed with goodies which the past and the present have no inkling of ........ ergo is the future completely different and any notion that the status quo would be have of being present in any of its present form, would clearly be a delusional nonsense and most probably a certifiable madness in the extreme, to be spun by those with nothing to offer the future.

And whenever a government minister, ..... and in the party political gravy train game which has them paid for, and/or paying themselves from public revenue/"donations" extracted as third party taxes on everything that is identified as being considered essential, and therefore an easy target for increasing ill-gotten gains/fabulous extra expenses, is such a position the one to which all of the players aspire to achieve ..... betrays/ignores/flouts/break what are very clear guidelines indeed, and which every man and his dog on the street would expect ministers to be well aware of and to follow religiously to avoid any possible interpretation of them being abused for whatever reason, even without them being written into the ministerial code, is it right that he is not summarily dismissed from both government and party politics with all benefits accrued and expected, removed, as a suitable punishment and valuable lesson to deter any such similar action in the future from others.
Or is the practice of such deceit and betrayal in government and politics so engrained and rife throughout the system, that were anything other than a slap on the wrist and spell in the wings and a whitewashing report of an obfuscating inquiry, would government collapse and be outed as a collective cabal of incompetent parasitic crooks?
Where is the sanction that guarantees, or at least makes it most unpleasant and counterproductive and very costly, that abuse in public office doesn't pay and renders one liable to criminal proceedings and a spell of detention at HM pleasure.
And is it true that Dr. Fox is to receive £17,000 for stepping down as a Minister? A question asked because of this reader's comment [adamlongrass] in the Telegraph, ...... "Fox to get £17k for resigning as a cabinet minister, surely only the smallest of hors d'oeuvres before what is to come. Friends of the super rich and all powerful are not forgotten........ "
Why is it that Parliament and the Westminster model as currently practised, and supported by all into party political games/soaps, has one thinking of a den of thieves and Guy Fawkes/a bunch of arrogant losers and popular virtual revolution?
